Basketball Play Designer: Arc
Your idea.
Your next practice.
Design a basketball play you can explain. Place offensive and defensive players, connect cuts, dribbles, passes and screens, then replay the steps together.
Release preview. Arc is being prepared for App Store review and is not available to download yet.
Explain what happens next
Start with an original editable wing-exchange example or a blank half court. Revise with Undo and Redo. Play a sequence, pause at a decision and show which player receives the ball.
Keep a response linked to its base
Create a variant for a different defensive response. Unchanged steps follow the base play; a changed step stays independent. Return that step to the base when you choose.
Take the right version into practice
Put saved plays and variants in order with minutes and notes. Each activity keeps the version you selected, so later edits to the source do not silently rewrite your practice.
Own the work you create
Arc stores your playbook on the device. Save an editable JSON backup, review an archive before deliberately replacing the library, and prepare portable SVG diagrams. There is no account, team roster or app-operated cloud sync.
Start a real playbook
The planned included allowance is three saved plays, one saved practice and one linked variant per play. Optional Pro access adds saved capacity through either a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription. Existing materials remain available after a subscription ends. Apple handles purchases; final availability depends on App Store approval.
Designed for basketball coaches creating their own tactical sequences on iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later. Arc is not a live scoreboard, video recorder or licensed drill library.
