Who is responsible

Gold Buyer Desk is developed by Yurii Koshkin in Spain under the Gatoficio studio brand. Contact support@gatoficio.com for privacy questions.

Your worksheets stay on your device

Item labels, weights, deductions, purity assumptions, price references and sources, offers, testing notes, saved quotes and drafts are stored locally. We do not receive these records. The app has no account or app-operated cloud sync. Apple device or iCloud backups may include app data according to your settings; those backups are separate from an app-operated service.

Exports and backups

You choose where a PDF, CSV or backup file goes through the system share sheet. Exports may contain commercially sensitive information. Review the file before sharing. A customer-facing PDF leaves out internal spread and testing notes, but still includes the lot and offer details needed to explain the quote. CSV and backup files contain internal records. The receiving service handles its copy under its own policies.

Limited product analytics

The configured release uses TelemetryDeck for product analytics, enabled by default without a blocking prompt. Settings → Product analytics lets you switch it off. This stops future transmissions and discards pending app analytics. Re-enabling requires a restart. Analytics does not affect free or paid access.

App events describe onboarding step numbers, workflow actions, save or export actions, export format, offer-layout assignment, monthly/yearly/lifetime product type, and purchase or restore outcomes. We do not send lot labels, customer information, weights, purity values, prices, sources, currency, calculated amounts, testing notes, document contents, transaction identifiers, receipts or payment card details.

The SDK also attaches a hashed client identifier, random session identifier, timestamp, app version/build and technical metadata. This can include OS version, device model and architecture, screen properties, language and region, time zone, appearance, layout direction and accessibility settings. We do not set an account identity or join analytics to worksheet data or support messages. We do not use an advertising identifier, sell analytics, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites. A hashed identifier is still an identifier; this policy does not claim that events contain no identifiers.

TelemetryDeck processes analytics in the European Union. Its privacy information describes identifier handling, technical metadata and retention, and states that it does not store visitor IP addresses. Switching analytics off does not automatically delete events already received. The provider does not specify one fixed routine deletion interval for all retained analytics. Please do not send a customer record or Apple receipt to identify an analytics event.

Purchases

Apple handles billing and purchase records. StoreKit checks access and handles purchases, Restore, expiry and revocation. When analytics is enabled, the limited product-type and outcome events described above are collected. We do not receive card details or collect receipt contents in analytics.

Support and your rights

If you email us, we receive your address, message and attachments and use them to respond and keep necessary support records. Email providers process them for delivery and storage. Send a redacted example, not a customer list or a full quote backup. Support information is retained only as long as needed for the request, follow-up or applicable obligations.

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of information we hold, or object where applicable, using the support address above. You may also contact your local data-protection authority, including Spain’s AEPD.

Deleting data

Delete individual saved quotes in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading may preserve it. Shared copies and device backups are managed separately. We cannot recover a worksheet that we do not hold. Deleting a quote does not reset the included-save allowance.

Opening a legal or support link loads a website. See the Gatoficio website privacy notice for hosting and connection information.
