Apple’s standard license

The app uses Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These product notes explain the worksheet and access model; they do not replace that license or applicable consumer rights.

A worksheet, not an assay or trading service

The app calculates an estimate from your inputs. It does not determine metal purity, weigh items, supply a live market price, authenticate jewellery, guarantee a refiner payout, or provide investment, tax or legal advice. Verify purity and deductions independently. Karat divided by 24 and a hallmark’s stated fineness are different assumptions; choose the basis appropriate to your item.

Your manually entered reference price, source and date are preserved with a saved quote. Refining losses, fees, taxes and operational costs are not automatically included. Melt minus your offer is a spread, not net profit. Results may be rounded for display.

Quotes and business obligations

A shared PDF is a nonbinding estimate, not an invoice, assay certificate, purchase contract or legally compliant pawn/dealer receipt. Check all inputs and the exported document before relying on them. You remain responsible for customer consent, testing, identification, recordkeeping and any other requirements applying to your business or jurisdiction.

Included access and Pro

The calculator is available without a purchase. Three original quote saves are included. Deleting, restoring or revising a saved record does not reset the allowance; a new original revision counts as a new save. Pro permits further quote saves. Existing records remain readable and exportable if a subscription expires. Local records and backups are not a purchase entitlement.

Pro options are monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime unlock. Availability and the actual localized price are shown by Apple in the app before purchase. There is no introductory subscription trial. “Lifetime” means access to the purchased Pro functionality without recurring charges, not a promise of perpetual operation of an external service.

Apple billing and Restore

Apple charges your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge renewal within the final 24 hours. Manage or cancel in Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund earlier charges. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used to buy. Refund requests are handled by Apple, subject to applicable rights.

Local storage and backups

Keep a backup before replacing devices or deleting the app. We do not hold a cloud copy of your worksheets. Inspect shared documents for sensitive information. Do not use sample or onboarding values as real market references.
